late stage in the life of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. In 1974, in New York, 70-year-old surrealist Salvador Dalí spends several months at the St Regis Hotel with his wife and muse, the violent and volatile. Gala Dalí. James Linton is a young gallery assistant whom Dalí begins to take an interest in and whom he brings into his private world to help prepare for a new exhibition. It is through James' eyes that we look at the world of the eminent artist.
